Tried the Carne Asada fries and the California burrito and they were both super delicious! Definitely had that Southern Cali taste and feel ! Definitely coming back !

Tasty food and friendly staff. Its always busy so make sure to book a table in advance! Pay with card is possible. The cauliflower taco was surprisingly good too! Lots of beers and nice cocktails. Recommended !

Wow, I had pretty much given up on authentic Mexican food, here in Germany. When I walked into Chicano, I was immediately greeted and was amazed by the friendly atmosphere. Everyone spoke perfect English, and Debby was absolutely the best waitress. I was surprised how she remembered our names and made small talk throughout our time there. Debby told me the owner/cook was from the San Diego area, which in my opinion has some of the best Mexican food on the planet. I was shocked to see a “California burrito” on the menu, and even more shocked when I saw the correct ingredients listed on their amazing menu. The food was absolutely superb, the service amazing, and the peanut butter pie was to die for. The price is very fair for the amount and quality of food you get & the facility is very clean. COVID standards are adhered too. Lastly, while paying my bill I was greeted by the owner. He’s a great guy who reminded me of home & we had a great conversation. If you want to experience the most authentic Mexican food in Geemany, this is the place to go.... HANDS DOWN! Look no further, this is the spot!

We order regularly from Chicano and are very enthusiastic about the food. Especially the Pokebowl and Quesedila are the top hammer! Eaten better nowhere! 💗

In Trier to casually visit the city. In a regional magazine found the ad for Chicano restaurant. After visiting the amphitheater we walked, and walked, and walked to Chicano. Tasty food; turns out chef Ariel and I went to area high schools. Delicious food way across the ocean! Visit Chicano if you can.

I went here with 3 friends and all of us loved the food!! The tacos and nachos were so delicious and fresh. Plus, the price is great. They have lots of cocktails and wine options too. I will definitely be back with my husband and kiddo.

The food was really good and flavorful. The waitress was super helpful and got us our order pretty quickly. The cocktails were pretty strong also. They have 2 pages worth of them. Their schedule was a little bit complicated. You can get a single taco of each type or 4 of the same tacos.

This restaurant is hands downs the most diversified establishment you will find for amazing food! Ariel and Ana are two amazing people that puts care and detail into every dish that is made as well as making sure the experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere is perfect, I would have no problem waiting outside in the rain for the outstanding food they provide. Five Stars hands down will return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best southern california food and vibes, great Vegan options

As a San Diego transplant living in Germany, I had a tough time finding good Mexican food out here. That changed when I found Chicanos. The food here is authentic and delicious and the service is fantastic. It feels like a small piece of home when I eat here. All the food is amazing, but I highly recommend the Surf and Turf burrito.

The burrito was by no means fried, most of the ingredients were still raw on the inside. The fries were unfortunately more soft than crispy.

Nice food but we had to wait aprox 1 hour for our food. We will come again and next time time we will order as we will put the foot in. Is not fun to wait much with a hungry kid nex t to you asking over and over again when si the food coming.

Very small, but very fine :-) Super friendly, everything was explained to us with patience. It was asked again and again whether we had questions and whether everything was OK. Ambience is great! Unfortunately it is a little hidden, it took us a little to find it. Second row, so to speak. The only minus point I give is the portion size. So I personally found it very small. Good taste. My personal highlight was the cake! Rarely eaten a delicious cake for dessert. All in all very recommendable!!!

This was very tasty! Fresh products, tasty on taste, creative and inexpensive. Nice service and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Chicano is definitely recommended.
